Vaithiar Agasthia Rathy Lekshmikanth is a Hereditary Traditional Sidtha Medicine Consultant and Practitioner at her Agasthiar Sidtha Medical Centre Kulim.

Siddha Medicine and Medicinal Food

She is an expert in Sidtha medicine and medicinal food preparation. She has been actively operating and practising in the field for more than 20 years. She has been amongst the great few who pioneered in Sidtha medicinal food for the body, mind and spiritual welfare of the people.

Herbal Product Development

She has guided in the development of many herbal products for manufacturing units. She is a renowned Sidtha expert in Kulim, the Northern region of Malaysia. Many patients across the nation visit her daily. Vaithiar Agasthia Rathy has written more than 20 books related to indian traditional food.

Television and Kitchen Education

She has hosted approximately 200 episodes of television programs on medicinal food titled "Nalaviyalaal Varum Inbangal". Which has made her a famous icon among indian kitchens after the broadcasting of her cooking programs entitled "Enna Samayalo" in Astro Vizhuthugal. Almost all of her cooking episodes touch the Tamilian hearts. She literally taught the Nation how to cook and what to cook in the proper traditionally and medicinally infused way? Her shows attract the large ordinary crowd who viewed with much extraordinary interest.

Professional Membership

Vaithiar currently holds the Life Membership from the Sidtha Vaithiar Sangam from 2001. She also holds an Iridology Cert from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, India.

Pulse Diagnosis Training

She has further enhanced her pulse diagnosis in Sidtha under the tutorage of Nadi Vigyan Vaidyacharrya Vaithiar J.R Raju.

2007

Participated in the first symposium on Ayurveda, Unani and Sidtha System of Medicine at Kuala Lumpur on 18th March 2007 organised by PEPTIM, the umbrella body of Ministry of Health.

Participated in the 6th International TCM Conference and 3rd International Congress on Traditional Medicine and Materia Medica held on 17th till 20th July 2007 organised by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

2010

Participated in International Conference on Traditional Indian Systems of Ayurvedic Medicine which was held on 2nd March 2010 organized by the Malaysian Association of TIM, Department of Ayush, India and Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Participated in Continuing Medical Education (CME) - Seminar for Practitioners of Ayurveda in Malaysia held on 8th and 14th August 2010 organised by the Malaysian Association of Traditional Indian Medicine, Ayush, India and High Commission of India, Malaysia.

Free yoga classes for students below 13 years of age.

Food as Medicine

Gives lectures and conducts self awareness Sidtha classes to Indian people, teaching them how to consume food as medicine.

Her writings were published by leading newspapers and magazines, and her interviews were broadcast through radio and television networks.

Her program "Nalaviyalal Varum Inbangal" showed daily over Astro Vizhuthugal for many years and gained her name and fame.
